Modernizing DoD requirements management.

We're on a mission to transform how the DoD develops and manages requirements through intuitive tools and streamlined processes.

Our mission

At DART, we are dedicated to transforming the JCIDS process by reducing time and cost, simplifying requirement drafting, and enhancing approval routing. Our mission is to empower DoD requirement owners with an intuitive, guided tool that integrates validated data and scales from unclassified to classified systems.

We're customer-focused — working closely with requirement owners and stakeholders from across the DoD to understand the challenges of the current process and build solutions that address those pain points. By combining deep domain expertise with modern software development, we're creating tools that make requirements development more efficient, consistent, and effective.

Meet the team

Built by domain experts and technologists.

DART is developed by a team with deep experience in both DoD requirements processes and modern software development, backed by organizations committed to defense innovation.

DART began when a team of military requirements writers, acquisition professionals, and software engineers recognized that the current tools for JCIDS were slowing down the acquisition process. Working together, they envisioned a modern solution that would streamline requirements development while maintaining compliance with DoD standards.

Today, DART is transforming requirements development across the DoD by providing an intuitive, guided approach to requirements drafting. Our team continues to work closely with users across multiple services, incorporating feedback and continuously improving the platform to better serve the defense acquisition community.
